Did you know we coined the phrase New Wave Of American Heavy Metal, and then the press stole it and used it to promote a bunch of bands that weren't us? Fun times. Anyway - we aren't bitter at all. And we rarely bring up the fact that we created that cool ass slogan over twenty years ago. We also brought the wall of death to the masses around the same era, which was also stolen and is now WAY overused - but that's another story. 

Designed by Dan Goldsworthy (again? sheesh!), this design is equally silly as it is incredible. The artwork is sick, but we are obviously having fun and paying tribute to our heroes. We know it might look like the Chimaira beast is harming the metal gods, but we assure you Frank Stevenson—that's his name—is helping them!
